HOW TO ACHIEVE BALANCE, RESTORE HEALTH
Good Health is restored naturally through the practices of YOGA and AYURVEDA. Yoga is the physical and spiritual part of bringing our Mind Body and Spirit into balance and union with each other. Ayurveda is the science of bringing and maintaining our bodies to optimal health, thus releasing sickness and disease and restoring our whole being into perfect health and harmony. By practicing yoga and using ayurveda we are able to fully reach our amazing human potential.
In Ayurveda practice, emphasis is on the whole person. Professional practitioners gather a fully detailed physical history of the client to determine the aspects of the being that require attention. A program of proper eating is then customized, including lists of the appropriate foods, herbs, and spices that can help restore the body to a good healthy balance. It also includes attention to foods that should be avoided. For example, we ourselves confirmed that eating beef can result in tender arthritis joints becoming inflamed.
Custom blending of teas, and/or specific spices is part of the ayurveda program and can enhance good health. One example is the blend of spices in the right-hand column which is made into a tea to aid digestion.
